A new moth for the garden in the form of Gypsonoma oppressana, the second garden record of Cydia fagiglandana and the third of Scarce Silver-lines. Not a bad night!

Just the second garden record of Scarce Silver-lines was the highlight of a slightly quieter night with very few micros. A battered Dark Sword-grass was the first since 2010 and hopefully the first of many migrants.

A very busy night produced a frantic morning as I tried to process all the moths in the MV before leaving for work. Just about the first moth out of the trap was a Scarce Silver-lines - new for the garden. In all there were 11 new for the year and several micros remain to be identified.
