10th June 2009

Three new for the year including the first of the awkward Hoplodrina pair - The Rustic and The Uncertain. I'm fairly happy that I've called this correctly as The Rustic but if anyone disagrees, please let me know.

2nd June 2009 - micros

A warm humid night brought out lots of moths (well over 200 in two traps) and lts of mosquitos. Several micros yet to be confirmed but the highlight so far was Phlyctaenia perlucidalis, local to the Fens, but the first here since 2006:
