A couple of degrees warmer overnight, a drop in the wind and we were back up to well over 200 moths and 65 species across the two traps. Several new for the year included one of my favourites - Buff Arches, the moth that pretends it's already been eaten!


This geometer had me searching the books and web-sites. It turned out to be an unusual form of a common moth.
