A very warm, damp early evening looked perfect for a few day-flying moths. As soon as I stepped out of the garden door a tiny moth flew past - it's most likely Phyllonorycter leucographella, the Firethorn Leaf-miner, and a new garden record but it will have to be confirmed by gen.det.
Next up was the much more common Monopis laevigella or Skin Moth, but this was still new for the year.
